Our friends, The Killoughs moved to the UK last year so Kent could get his learn on at Oxford. While we all hoped that after graduation they would come back to Texas, they both got great jobs in London and decided to stay put for a little while. It sucks...we miss them...but I always like it when I tell stories about them because I get to say, "My friends that live in London..." I always feel so posh.
They may not be moving back any time soon but they can't be kept away. They came back home for the holidays and arranged a happy hour at one of our favorite watering holes for everyone to hang out. Since Miller & I hadn't seen them in a while (we visited them when we went to London on vacation in March/April) we wanted to make a point to go. We arranged for S.B.G. to go to a friend's place for a couple hours (it was after her bedtime so she slept the entire time) and we headed off. It was great to have a couple hours of baby-free fun but, more importantly, it was GREAT to hang out with our friends.
We've missed you guys....it was great to see you!
