Snow Dayzzzzzzzzzzzz

It snowed throughout parts of Austin today. Not "snow" in the build-a-snowman, make-snow-angels sense, but obvious snowflakes were falling from the sky. It was quite nice...it wasn't a blistery wet, cold day. Just a pleasant winter day with snowflakes. It is Audrey's first winter & her very first snow.

And she slept through it.

I could have easily woken her up from a nap, but she's been having a rough go with napping lately. And so the princess sleeps.

Speaking of the princess, her transition into her own room last night went surprisingly well. I had a rough time when we initially crawled into bed. I could *feel* the abyss in our room where her crib used to be. It was too quiet - I couldn't hear her breathing or adjusting her arms/legs. It was horribly sad. But, I managed to fall asleep only to be woken up (again) at 3:15am for our middle-of-the-night feeding. I trekked all the way across the house and fed her. It felt good to nuzzle with her and she absolutely got extra cuddles before I laid her back down for the rest of the night. She had a bit of trouble going right back to sleep...I had a couple back-and-forths across the house before she finally crashed again about 4:45. Once I went back to sleep, I was O-U-T. Miller had to wake me up at 8:30 because I was snoozing through her cries over the monitor. Whoops. But as I predicted yesterday, I was greeted with awesome smiles.

I guess the transition is "complete" because she is officially in her new room. We still have to buy a bookshelf & hang her wall decor, so no pictures of her new room yet. Hopefully it'll get done before Christmas. Don't hold your breath though.

Audrey managed to escape the camera today, but Riley wasn't so lucky. He wasn't happy about having his picture taken, though:

Audrey is 5 months, 2 weeks & 1 day old

Good job on the move! It is tough- we moved Anderson once only to bring him back to our room because *I* didn't adjust well! ;) Glad your princess handled it all right.
