Squeeeee! I'm so excited to have our very first Christmas Tree!! Miller & I have always spent the holidays at one of our parents' houses and it seemed like a waste of time & money to set up a tree that we wouldn't actually use. Now that we have S.B.G and will be hosting Christmas, we have to have a tree! Since we don't have a lot of family/sentimental ornaments in our possession (again...they're with our parents'), I wanted to take the opportunity to do a "grown-up" tree. We never did a themed tree when I was growing up and I've always lusted over them at the malls & stuff. Behold, our very own grown-up, matchy-matchy tree!

It's missing a tree topper (I still haven't found one I love) and for some oddball reason the lights at the top are WAY brighter than at the bottom, but I don't care. I love it. The red & gold ornaments are so purdy & the ribbon is such a sophisticated touch. (Thanks for the inspiration, Ashley!)

The tree is about the extent of the holiday decorating in the Miller house this year. Our house is still in mini-chaos after swapping all the rooms around and adding Christmas decorations just seems like unnecessary clutter at this point. Next year for sure. Baby steps, folks, baby steps.

Oh, it's gorgeous! Great job!
Love the tree! I, too, am a fan of ribbon vs. garland.
Love it! I have always coveted a pretty themed tree.
Looks great!
It is so pretty! Good job. And I am still loving the shine of the lights off the floor and windows. :) It makes me happy.
