Audrey has finally woken up from her 48 hour hibernation and rejoined the land of the living. She has been given a bath (and smells lovely now) and has resumed her generally happy disposition. As much as I enjoyed the break with her constant sleeping, I'm kind of glad to have my S.B.G. back. I missed her. :)
Apparently all that sleep did wonders for her acrobatic ability. I went to get her after a nap this afternoon and discovered this:

In and of itself the picture doesn't mean much, but considering the fact that I put her down for her nap with her head at the opposite end of the crib, you can imagine my surprise when I discovered her facing the other direction. (And, yes, I realize that my child sleeps with a blanket and bumpers in her crib. Get over it.) She's made the 90° turn before but she has never made it all the way around like that. Silly girl.
A quick trip over to the changing table brings us to her newest shtick. She's been playing with her feet more lately but they really capture her fascination when she is sans pants/diaper. I'm sure the lack of diaper adds to her flexibility, but it's still pretty cute to watch her play with her toes.

A quick injury update for those of you following along at home: I have escaped the wrath of a black eye so we are good to go for any holiday pictures I may find myself in. I did, however, give myself a paper cut between the fingers while wrapping presents. (Jackass, anyone?) It hurt like hell (I lost count at how many expletives spewed from my mouth) but it's nothing a little Neosporin can't fix. I'm going to put myself into a bubble for the remainder of the week, though, to save myself from any future injuries.
Audrey is 6 months & 4 days old

how freaking cute is she?? sheesh you are killing me!
Oh and I LOVE your changing pad cover!
she and Spencer need to get together. They'd make a cute circus pair. Only if it's one of those circuses that doesn't have animals, of course. Because, while I'm cool with blankets and bumpers in cribs (uh, my kid has an egg crate to make his mattress more comfy), I can't abide by a circus w/ animals. :)
Cirque du Soleil?
And dude, she's still freaking adorable. Happy holidays! Glad to hear you don't have any black eyes.
