Stand Up

After a fussy Saturday it could only get better, right?

Meh. At least it didn't get any worse. Audrey was just a little "off" today and I most definitely think the teething is to blame. Napping is a little harder to come by and she definitely has a case of the clingy. Thank goodness we're still in Houston with no shortage of people willing to hold her.

Despite all the fussiness, she has still managed to have a little fun. She is finally enjoying her music table in the way it was truly intended:

She can't pull herself up yet, but if you give her a boost she is none to happy to stand there and bang on all the keys/buttons for a good while. I'm definitely starting to wonder if we are going to bypass the crawling phase all together.

We also introduced her to carrots today. Personally, the thought of pureed carrots makes me want to gag but she seemed to really enjoy them. I'm glad that new foods continue to be a hit (except for the green beans) and am looking forward to the next food adventure. Meats? Finger foods? Meaty-finger foods? So many choices.....

Audrey is 8 months & 2 days old

Yay for standing up! She might just skip crawling; my DD did and I know others do. I hope those teeth come in quick. I'm surprised every time how disruptive and painful those little things are. :(

How adorable!! OMG She's standing!! Good Girl! We have that same toy for our little one too. We haven't put the legs on it though, so we sit and play with her. I can't believe how time flies.. I hate that it's going so fast. Happy 8 Months!! We just celebrated 7, so we're keeping up too. : )

Have you done sweet potato fries yet? The boys love those! And strangely - I think they might have been switched in the nursery - they detest mashed potatoes. BLASPHEMERS!!

I love that she stands there banging around. That's exactly what Coop used to do. It's a match made in heaven, I'm telling you.

(you've "made" my blog before, silly)
