I mentioned last week that it was going to be tough for me to keep up my regularly scheduled blogging since I'm in Houston for work. My brain is so fried by the end of the day that I don't want to bust out my laptop. At. All. All I want to do is spend time with the wee one and veg out. Sorry. But, I'm feeling a little spark in my step today and realized that I never downloaded pictures off my camera from Sunday.
One of my dear, dear friends is in Houston (she currently lives in Detroit so we don't see her much) and was throwing an early 1st birthday party for her cutie pie. We headed out on Sunday to see Kristy & Kinley and had a great time visiting and celebrating with her family. (Thanks again for the invite, K!!) Audrey was enamored with the cupcakes and couldn't take her eyes off them.
It was a great afternoon and I am so glad we got to see the K family while they were in town. Audrey was so tired by the time we got home (from all the excitement & because she skipped a nap) that she slept like a rock. Awesome.

I can just see Audrey contemplating ways to sneak off with one of those cupcakes. She's shaking her fist "DARN! Why can't I crawl yet?!?!! ARGH!!!" hahaha! :) She looks like a big girl. Sigh.
