We are slowly but steadily introducing Audrey into the world of self-service.
The pincer-grasp is still a little shaky (she is still grabbing with her entire fist) but once she gets a hold of a puff...it is all over.
In other "news", there is still no crawling. Audrey has made it perfectly clear that she is content sitting on her butt and had no intention of making forward progress (pun intended) any time soon. No amount of putting enticing toys just outside her range can get her to move. We have even taken to playing on the hard wood floors in fleece pants to decrease the amount of effort required on her part to even scooch across the floor. Nada. Le sigh.
And since my mom has been complaining that she has "no" pictures of her with the baby, I present to you Audrey & her 阿婆:

my mother says i didn't crawl. then one day i got up and walked clear across the room (didn't even fall). :-) she says it was just an indication of my personality for life. go big or go home. hahaha.
Love the self-service shot!! Once she gets to crawling, there will be no stopping her! Or, she'll just skip the whole crawling thing {too easy peasy for her} and jump right in to walking!
eh, crawling is for babies. that's what I always say.
how do you type the Chinese characters? and is that your mom's name or just "grandma" or whatever?
Such a sweet pic of the two of them though. Even with the thumb/puff in the mouth.
(more reason Coop and SBG would be awesome together. they both like puffs and not doing much. hello?!)
Aww...Pictures with Grandma, that's the best. She will cherish them forever!
