Green Beans have been on the menu for S.B.G. for a couple weeks now. She didn't like them initially but I just chocked it up to shoddy preparation on my part (they were exceptionally runny) and decided to forge ahead. After she (disdainfully) finished the last batch I made a second attempt at homemade green beans, paying special attention to the food/water ratio to ensure they were "just right."
Tonight, we gave it another go. She gives them a try...

...and we're going to go with NO.

Unfortunately for S.B.G., green beans are good for her. Which means I get to mix them with her cereal until she gets over her dislike. I'll stop feeding them to her when she can tell me she doesn't want them.
Audrey is 6 months & 2 weeks old.

The boys took a while to warm up to green beans too. Weird because their momma loves them!
Haha! Too cute! We have to mix green beans with squash or fruit in our house. Otherwise, she sticks her hands in her mouth and pulls them all out!
Love it!! She is just too adorable, even when she's spitting out food!
Ha! So funny and of course still cute! Yea it just get so much for fun when they start throwing it...but that is what Sofia is for. ;)
Classic, I love the shot of her spitting it out!! Is this what I am in for?? Geez, let me get all the bibs ready.
lol!! seriously, she is ridiculous cute even with spitting out a mouthful of green beans!
Lilly wasn't too into green beans at first, but we ended up mixing them with a bit of mint and olive oil (from a baby recipe) and now she has no problem with them. Not sure if it's her getting over the dislike or the combination, but whatever works! The spitting out is great... Lilly just avoids the spoon when she doesn't like something.
Must be the GREEN. Her dad did fine with most everything except spinach.
you're mean. green beans are gross. that poor baby.
K was NOT a fan of the pureed green beans either. Can't say I blame her.
Now that she is eating finger foods green beans are her favorite. Go figure...
A is a doll! Miss you girls!
