Contrary to the eleventy-billion Facebook status updates & blog posts stating as such, it did NOT snow in Texas today. It snowed in Austin. Big difference. Instead of frolicking in the winter wonderland that was Central Texas today, I got to sit around the office in Houston (in a windowless room, mind you) writing business rules wishing that I was either back in Austin, playing in the snow, not at work, hanging with S.B.G., or some combination of the four.
I am officially on the final countdown for the end of February because with the arrival of March marks my glorious return to Austin. I am finally heading home on Saturday come hell or high water. As much as I needed to be here (keeping my job is key) and as much help as my parents have been over the last 4 weeks, I miss the hell out of my life. (At least the Olympics have been on so there is no shortage of good TV.)
Since we have already established that I suck at taking pictures when I'm in Houston, I will post a couple out-takes from our 8 month photo shoot when Audrey discovered the sticker on her shirt.
