Earlier this week we headed "up north" to Round Rock to attend their annual fall festival. Dude. It's windy up there. The event was billed as having lots of fun games & activities for the little ones, but we pretty much spent the majority of the morning keeping the babies from blowing away in the wind. Fuuuun. The games were a huge bust (in all fairness, they were aimed at a slightly older crowd) and there were about eleventy billion kiddos/parents there, making it more of a mosh pit and less of a family-fun-festival atmosphere. Luckily, there was a nice playscape nearby that Audrey could have a blast at.
Since my parents are in town (gearing up for S.B.G's first trick-or-treating adventure), we hit up Zilker Park to ride the train - a first for all of us. I was a little worried about whether or not she would enjoy the ride (especially since she wasn't a fan of the merry-go-round), but much to my surprise she loved it. Add in the gorgeous weather and it was a great time for everyone.
Audrey's molar continues to work its way out and I think she's also working on a matching molar on the left side. I'm really happy/lucky/thankful that she's handling it pretty well -- we've had a couple rough bouts with naptime/bedtime, but for the most part it hasn't been too bad (:: knock on wood ::). Let's just keep our fingers crossed that it stays this way, mmmkay?
Audrey is 1 year, 4 months, 1 week & 3 days old

Love that last pic of her and your dad. I love how much they adore each other!
:)
Way windy! We pretty much went on the hay ride and checked out early. I think the game lines will be easier to wait out when they're older. :)
