Last week the gang met up for Kent's 30th birthday. Since his birthday fell on the Wednesday before the 4th and we were all planning on "busting it" (Kent's words, not mine) for the weekend, we went for a pretty chill night of "Drafthouses."
The evening began with a matinee showing of Hancock at the Alamo Drafthouse, and then some beer & free pizza at The Draught House Pub & Brewery afterwards. It was a crazy-chill evening with great friends...I even bumped into a random co-worker from Houston.
I tried two new beers (the Kona Longboard Lager and the Independence Pale Ale) but honestly couldn't tell you anything about them. Gimme a break; it was over a week ago and I fried my brain cells over July 4th. Anyways...happy beer drinking to you all!

You guys sound like fun. Jay and I never see movies at the theatre, sadly. He'd like your goal of the 20 new beers though. Have you joined the "beer of the month" club yet? :)
