15 months!

EEK! 15 months old!!

Miller & I marvel every single day how we are now the parents of a kid as opposed to a baby. She is growing and changing every single day and it's pretty remarkable. Her little sponge of a brain is absorbing so much stuff around her and it's such a riot watching her figure stuff out.

We've hit a wall with the introduction of new signs - we're capping out at "more", "all done", and "eat" (which she confuses with "water"). I'm kind of regretting teaching her "eat" because she uses it all.the.time. She has figured out that the kitchen/refrigerator is where the food is kept because I frequently find her banging on the fridge while frantically signing "eat". One of these days I'll have to deny her food for an additional 30 seconds to catch a picture. :) She has learned where her nose & belly button are, but we can't figure out which ones to go for next. Head? Ears? Eyes? She intelligibly says "dada", "mama" & "night night". She still does a lot of mumbling that kindasorta sounds like stuff, but nothing decipherable at this point. We're working on getting her to say "dog" and "ball" (since she interacts with both about a million times a day), but no such luck as of yet.

Her schedule today was a little wonky thanks to a 5:30am wake-up call (:: yawn...I'm tired ::) so I forgot to take a couple snaps of the wee one. Instead, I get to share one of Audrey at the mall play area yesterday while we were out running errands. (Sorry for the blur.) Check out the cute outfit....thanks, 阿婆!

Audrey is 1 year & 3 months old
