As happy as I am about it, blogging about getting laid off sucks. So let's lighten it up a bit, mmmkay?
Tuesday was a GORGEOUS day out and was the perfect day for a picnic in our neighborhood park. Several gals & their always-cute babies came out and we had a grand old time watching all our children literally crawl all over each other. I didn't get any good pictures of all the babies together, but (of course) I got this ridiculously cute one of S.B.G.
Speaking of crawling - things are still slow going in that department. Literally. It's honestly fine by me because it means that I'm not chasing her around the house as she zooms about on all fours. I realize that pictures like this one are going to start to be few & far between - I kept having to back up as she crawled towards me. I guess it's a good thing she's slow, huh? :)
And I'm l.o.v.i.n.g. the view as she crawls away. Good gawd I love that fluffy butt.
But, crawling isn't all that is happening in the Miller household. Nosiree. We busted out the walker-toy that she got for Christmas (thanks, Grandpa & Grandma!) and she has taken to it like a fish to water. She still needs some help getting into a standing position and we have to hang on to keep it from zooming away faster than her little legs can go, but she is having a ball walking around the house.
You can't really tell it from the look on her face, but I promise she is having fun. She's concentrating, people.

I'm really sorry about the layoff, but I have to say that A is the best silver lining there could be. :) I'm glad you'll have some free time with her for a little bit, especially in the wonderful weather we've been having. Good luck with your job search. :)
sorry about getting laid off. that sucks. she does have a fabulously fluffy butt though. :-) yay for getting to spend lots of time for A for a little bit!
