They don't understand the concept of enjoying the extra hour of sleep courtesy of "fall back" for daylight savings time.
I'm already tired & sleep-deprived courtesy of my daughter. I love her more than life itself, but I really miss sleeping more than 4 consecutive hours. The dark circles under my eyes are starting to look like that black crap football players wear to block out the glare. My bed beckons me every time I walk into the bedroom. Hell - any flat surface seems appealing at this point. But I sacrifice and forge ahead because she's too young to know the difference. I wake up rise from my nap at 7am because that's when she is ready to get the day started.
And then daylight savings time ends. My cute little bundle of joy woke up at her "normal" time, but because she didn't get the memo that we are gifted with an extra hour today it was actually 6am. Awesome.
It's going to be a LONG day.

I feel your pain. Evan was up at '5:15 am' and Taylor just after. They missed the memo too.
At least we can stumble through the day knowing that Texas deserves to be #1 after last night!!!!! <3
yeah we got a 'sleep in' only because last week he got up super early every day :(
Oy! Tell me about it. I used to looove this day. Now it doesn't seem nearly so magical.
