Holy jeebus, I can't believe we've made it this far.I guess we are officially in the home stretch of this make-a-baby extravaganza. I haven't made a lot of progress since my last visit (I'm almost 2cm dilated & essentially 100% effaced) but according to my doctor, it's highly doubtful that I'll make it to my due date. Since I am past the 37th week, I am considered full term so there is no medical reason for them to stop me from going into labor. (Mom & Dad not being ready doesn't count as a "medical" reason. I checked.)
We're putting the finishing touches on getting everything together; the crib has been put together (I'll share pics as soon as we get the bedding washed & put on) and we have a good stockpile of diapers. The carseat still isn't installed (shame on Miller) and our bags still aren't packed (shame on me), but they'll get done eventually (I hope).
To be completely honest, I doubt we'll ever get to that point where I can exhale and say, "Okay. NOW I'm ready," but I keep telling myself that I'll be there next week. I think I just want one more weekend with Miller as a two-some, before we become a "family of 3" forever.

The final countdown! How exciting!! I have a feeling baby A will have a bit of mercy on her mommy and daddy and grant them one last weekend as a 2-some! Enjoy sweetie!
