52. Watch the entire list: AFI's 100 Years...100 Movies

Vertigo had been sitting in the house (courtesy of Netflix) for quite a while. Similar to my experience with Casablanca, I had basically seen this movie in parts but had yet to see the movie start-to-finish.

I always enjoyed Alfred Hitchcock movies. I think that his ability to tell stories that not only translate to the big screen but also appeal to our psyches is a great talent. You tend to walk away from a Hitchcock film going, "hmmm..."

Watching the re-mastered version of the film was also pretty cool. The sights of San Francisco used in the film were amazing...I really want to visit the California Palace of the Legion of Honor now. That place is absolutely beautiful.

Anyhow...I digress. The movie was good. Definitely a classic and definitely deserving of a top 10 place in the AFI's 100 Years...100 Movies list.

The only Hitchcock movie I've seen is The Birds and even that one I don't remember much of. Guess I should start with Vertigo, thanks for the tip. :)
