I have been working on this blog post for weeks and just can't muster the time & motivation to finish. That's not a good sign towards actually completing the goals, huh? At any rate, I've got just under a year to go so it's time for an update.
9. Get my teeth straightened - I was working on this one before I found out I was pregnant. I met with an orthodontist, who then referred me to an oral surgeon and they told me I would need surgery to reset my lower jaw. (EEK!) Needless to say, that's not going to happen anymore. I'll probably just go back to the orthodontist and request Invisalign and call it a day.
15. Install landscape lighting - We're fully planning on moving out of our current house by the end of 2009. We're going to cancel any non-essential house projects to save $$ for our new (to us) house. Let's update this goal to: 15. Repair/Replace deck
16. Install hardwood floors - Again, this is getting canceled. Goal changed to: 16. Replace/Steam clean carpet & tile
19. Finish other decorating projects - Another house-related goal being canceled. Goal changed to: 19. List house on the market
21. Learn to wakeboard - I'll go ahead and call this one a fail. I was too much of a chickenshiit to try this past summer and now that we sold the boat (and have a baby), this is going to be pretty difficult to complete. In keeping with the water-related theme, we'll change this goal to: 21. Teach Audrey to swim
29. Travel to Asia - Yeah...I had big dreams when I started my 1001 list, huh? Unless we take Audrey overseas (not likely to happen), this is also another goal that must be called on account of the baby. We'll change this goal to: 29. Take Audrey for an airplane ride
37. Take a photography class - I bought a new camera last week (a Nikon D60 to be exact) and a friend & I are planning to take classes together. I'm so excited!!
43. Start working out regularly - I actually need to mark this one as completed. I did pre-natal yoga throughout my second & third trimesters and now that I've been given the all-clear from my doctor (w00t!), I'm going to start back up with my weekly yoga classes. The regular physical activity is going to be AWESOME.
46. Buy a piece of artwork - This one will be done soon. After all of our amazing photo shoots recently, I'm going to enlarge/print some pictures and get a photo wall up. It's not art in the "traditional" sense, but it's art to me!
53. Go skydiving - Hahaha. This is SO not happening. We'll just quietly remove this one from the list and replace it with: 53. Teach Audrey 5 words in sign language
56. Get new family photos taken - This one is done, too! Need proof?
60. Fill the iPod and buy a new one - It's not an iPod but I did order a shiny, new iPhone this week!! It'll be here next week at which point I'll consider this goal complete.
73. Ride on the Harley - FAIL. We sold the Harley last year.
Now I'm depressed. I have a LONG way to go....

we are #37! woohoo :) you'll get it all done. at least you have a list!
I tried to wakeboard once and almost did it too, but once I was about up and nearly standing, water caught my bottoms and pulled them down. Needless to say, I haven't tried to wakeboard again. :) Flashing your in-laws will do that to you.
Good call on changing goals. I did the same thing. We sure were lofty dreamers when making these lists, weren't we?
Good luck on completing the new ones!
Love the family pic!
Lists are good... and I'm so excited for you getting your iPhone finally!!! Hope baby A is doing well..give her a squeeze-ola for me!
