I honestly don't know why I didn't just do this sooner, but there's a small part of me that is glad I waited until I was pregnant to do this. I haven't reached full-on nesting mode yet, but it did give me something really productive to do with my time.
I cleaned out mine & Miller's closets last weekend and finally finished boxing up all the crap. We've got 3 boxes of clothes that we'll keep until we have our neighborhood garage sale in May, and 2 HUGE boxes of clothes that we'll be donating to Goodwill. I'll be honest...I was shocked at how much shit we had between the two of us. There were clothes (on both sides) that hadn't been worn in YEARS!! It's amazing to see how much more space we have; and the fact that I'm pregnant just saves Miller the grief of me going out and buying crap to fill it back up again.
The next project will be to install a closet shelving/organization system to hopefully promote us keeping the closets neat & tidy. I'm thinking of doing the IKEA systems. They're pretty inexpensive and appear to be relatively simple to put together so that's probably the way we'll go. It's probably going to be awhile before we tackle that project, but I'm still considering the goal done since the clothes have officially been sorted and sent to their new homes.

I try to empty out Jay's side but then he goes and wears a shirt he "finds" and gets all excited about it:"Hey, look! I thought I'd lost this shirt!" :( Grumble grumble. I cleaned mine out and have shoved maternity crap in its place. I'm gonna need to do this again after the boys are here.
Good for you for getting nesting done so early! Wow, I'm in crazed nesting mode and can't do anything!
