T minus 7 days

SHOCKER!! I have another business trip coming up!!

I'm leaving next Monday for lovely & beautiful Teterboro, New Jersey and I'm REALLY excited!!

:: insert sarcasm here ::

So it's not the most glamorous of places, but I have to admit that it'll be nice to only be 3-4 hours away from home (by plane) vs. the 24 hour plane trip from Africa. Hopefully Miller can schedule a couple business meetings in New York and we can spend a weekend together so it really shouldn't be too bad at all. On a positive note, I will be able to cross another goal of my 1001 list:

58. Visit a new state in the U.S.

In other news, Miller & I took Riley to the Bull Creek Greenbelt yesterday for some "outdoor" fun. I had heard from other dog enthusiasts that it was a great place to let the dog have some water time since it's pretty shallow throughout and I was hoping that we could maybe get Riley to start swimming. Needless to say, that didn't happen. It was a little rainy so neither Miller or I was interested in getting any wetter than we had to and Riley was pre-occupied with all the other dogs he was meeting along the way. He did splash around in the shallow part of the creek, but never ventured into deeper waters. Hopefully when the weather starts to get better we can give it another try. I didn't get any good pics of Riley in the water, but I did get a couple cute ones of him running around. Disclaimer: Sorry for the devil-dog-eyes. It was about 6:30 and the lighting was horrible!
