6 Quirks About Me:
- I read magazines "backwards." I start from the back cover and work my way forward. It makes it difficult to read Vogue and other magazines where the stories jump from page-to-page, but I still do it this way.
- I love to wrap presents but I can't tie a "pretty" bow. I worked at Bed Bath & Beyond the summer after high school as the Bridal Registry consultant and I loved doing the complimentary gift wrap since they didn't use bows!
- Anytime I have to write a word with an e-i or i-e spelling, I have to repeat the "i before e, except after c" rule to myself. I misspelled a word on a paper in college once and was humiliated in front of my class for it.
- I rotate the towels in the linen closet and the plates in the cupboard after washing. The cleanest ones always go on the bottom to ensure even wear on all items.
- I "sing" made-up songs to my dog instead of talking to him. (But, honestly, why would I be talking to him?) Common tunes include: "Riley, Mommy is going to the kitchen to get a snack" and "Does Riley want a treat?" Can you tell I work from home?
- I don't have a problem when people address me as "Tabi," but I absolutely hate it when my name gets shortened to "Tabby." Even though they are pronounced the same, there is something about the 'y' that drives me bananas.
I'm going to pass on tagging anyone this go round. Considering the fact that it literally took me 2 weeks to get this done, I'm going to give everyone a mulligan on participating.

i've gotten nowhere trying to come up with 6 quirky things about myself!
i totally have to say i before e except after c when spelling words, including 'niece' which i spell all the time now. i still have to do a double take and repeat it!
love the reading magazines "backwards" thing. i had a subscription to Disney Adventures when i was a kid, and i would do that with those. but now that im an adult....i read them regular. :)
Ok, I'm a little confused. If I were to call you Tabi, that would be fine. But, if I said "Yo, Tabby!" that wouldn't be good? Am I missing a strange pronuncation of one or the other? If I ever meet you IRL, I'm going to call you Tabi (or Tabby?!) and you'll never know which one I'm saying! HA!

And I read my magazines backwards too! I drive myself buts doing it and can't seem to break the habit. Aye!

I also do the i before e thing but I remember it from the old Charli Brown cartoon where he goes to the spelling bee.
I still mispell words.

I love this one! I might have to do it when I get a chance...but I have the same i before e issues! I also can't believe you rotate stuff...it makes total sense though. Maybe I need to start!
